Mahogany Cheyenne Gordy, professionally know as Mahogany LOX was named after the movie Mahogany, a film written and produced by her grandfather Berry Gordy the founder of Motown Records. She also has a family connection to the Party Rocking duo LMFAO… the younger sister of Sky Blu, and the niece of Redfoo.

From a very young age many people have said Mahogany was born to entertain. She is a singer, actress, model and DJ. In November 2013 Mahogany joined the Magcon family (a major social media Meet and Greet tour) at its official first event in Dallas. Mahogany was Magcon’s DJ and the only girl in the family. In 2015 Mahogany was a correspondent for American Music Awards and America’s Best Dance Crew. Also, in the same year Mahogany hosted and DJ’ed Live Nation’s Show of the Summer and was a featured performer as the DJ on the Fifth Harmony Reflection Tour, their first headlining tour, which covered 22 US cities.

Mahogany is no stranger of performing in front of the camera. She has been in many acclaimed music videos; LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem”, Shwayze’s “Drunk off your love”, Austin Mahone’s “Mmm Yeah”, and The Chain Smokers “Selfie” to name a few. 

Over the past three years Mahogany has collaborated with major brands … Pitch Perfect 2, MTV, VMA Awards, Old Navy, Curve, Coca-Cola, Clean & Clear, Acuvue, Cover Girl, Carol’s Daughter, Hollister, Invisalign, Timberland, NYX Cosmetics, Redken, and more. 

As a singer, Mahogany recorded several successful covers Ariana Grande’s “Problem”, Fifth Harmony’s “Better Together “and Shawn Mendes’s “Life of the Party” with Brandon Skeie. All of which ranked high on the iTunes chart. She also covered Bruno Mars’ song “Uptown Funk” with Fifth Harmony, Jasmine V, and Jacob Whitesides, which won them an IHeart Radio award, with over 18 million views! 

Mahogany released her original debut single “Boom” in May 2015 with over 1,500,000 video views on YouTube written by Mahogany and her brother Sky, produced by Big Bad Productions. At the end of 2017 Mahogany released her second original song, which she co-wrote called “It Is What It Is” with great excitement.

In late 2017 Mahogany singed with Facebook for their initial launch of  its Facebook Watch video on demand service. Mahogany was one of the few Influencer/creator chosen for the initial launch. Mahogany has three shows currently running on this platform: “Fake it Til U Bake It”, “Out of Your Comfort Zone” and “Life of CarLOX” with over 1,750,000 views collectively.

Mahogany has been very busy in 2018 and 2019. She is one of 26 briefcase models for the CNBC show Deal or No Deal, hosted by Howie Mandel. Mahogany is briefcase model #13.  If you haven’t seen the show… check it out. It’s a lot of fun!

Mahogany also ramped up her Djing gigs. She performed at the Hollister Beach Party, Playlist Live and Vidcon US  2019. With DJ Mahogany LOX… the party don’t stop!!!

in December 2018 Mahogany released her third single called “No Deal “.  An upbeat track celebrating women empowerment. And in September 2019 Mahogany released her fourth single “Kiss Me Slow”. An infectious love ballad. Her fifth single “Take Your Man” has elevated her musical stature greatly as a major song and sound on the TikTok app crossing over into mainstream. As of October 18,2019 “Take Your Man” has over 10,000,000 steams on Spotify and charting in many countries! 

All of Mahogany’s original songs were co-written by her and greatly received by her fans worldwide. 

In 2020 Mahogany shot a National commercial for Mastercard, having its maiden debut on the 2020 Grammys and is currently running.

Also, in 2020… having 5.8 million followers on the TikTok App Mahogany was very busy with major brand deals; Adidas, Taco bell, Macys, Disney & Mastercard to name a few.

Mahogany has garnered over 9 million followers across her social media platforms. Her many fans around the world are affectionately known as LOXSmiths.  #Loxsmiths hold the Key 🔑 to Mahoganylox’s Heart.
